Social EventsConference ReceptionTy Llen Dylan Thomas Centre, Somerset Place, Swansea (Tel: 01792 463980)19:00-21:30, Tuesday, 4th April 2000 "The Dylan Thomas Centre is a resplendent colonnaded Victorian Grade II Listed building steeped in Civic and Cultural history. The building started out its life on September 28th 1825, with the laying of the foundation stone of 'The New Town Hall and House of Correction', and was completed in 1829.
Conference DinnerThe Osborne Hotel, Langland19:30-21:30, Wednesday, 5th April 2000 The Osborne Hotel is situated in an oustanding cliff top position providing breathtaking views over the Bristol Channel. Guests will have the opportunity to walk along the cliff top and watch the sun set over the Gower Peninsula (the UK's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty).
Buses will leave for the venue of the dinner at 18:30 in front of the Fulton House in the University. On our arrival, delegates will be welcomed by a harpist who will introduce us to the delights of Welsh folk music. There will be a FOUR course dinner with an exciting menu. |
